VOLUNTEER VACANCIES IN CALCUTTA THIS WINTER
Calcutta Rescue is looking for 6 volunteers for different key positions in the organisation. Each of these jobs requires a minimum of professionnal experience and a very good english and computer skills.

Limiting our costs to a minimum in Switzerland is one of our concerns.
Volunteer work
All our handlings, such as compiling the quarterly reports, packaging spices for sale or organising the running of craft stands, are taken care of y volunteers. Other partners contributing to the smooth running of the foundation have all agreed to reducing their costs to a minimum (internet sites, graphics, postal costs etc).
Guarantee
Your participation in helping the Calcutta poor, in whichever way, will always be treated with respect and seriousness. The best guarantee of the company’s smooth running is to visit the projects on site. All visitors are welcome in Calcutta.
Transparent accounts
Our accounts are controlled annually by an official body and by a federal surveillance unit. Our tax declarations can be accessed by the public.

 CR fête son 30e anniversaire Célébration du 30e anniversaire avec le staff de Calcutta RescueLe groupe de soutien anglais a sponsorisé une petite fête pour tout le personnel, qui n’a pas souvent l’occasion de se réunir et de faire la fête ensemble.
Pour marquer l'anniversaire du travail de bienfaisance, commencé par le Dr Jack Preger il y a 30 ans, le Dr Bobby a souhaité que ce moment soit partagé au coeur même de l'organisation et avec toute l'équipe de CR. Il a eu l'idée d'un dîner de remerciement qui se tiendrait à la Tala Parc Clinic. Tout le personnel y a été invité, ainsi que les volontaires et le conseil d'administration. Une grande majorité a répondu présent à l'invitation.

 Goutam Singh
Goutam, un étudiant brillant de Calcutta Rescue
Agé de 22 ans, Goutam est élève de la Number 10 School depuis ses huit
ans. Aujourd'hui, il est le premier étudiant de Calcutta Rescue à avoir
été accepté à l'Institute of Cost and Works Accountancy of India. Il
vient de commencer un cursus de trois ans dont l'écolage lui a été
offert par le groupe de soutien suisse (14 000 roupies, soit un peu
plus de Fr. 300.- pour les trois ans d'études).
Né à Nabada, petite ville dans le district de Mahashdih dans le
Bihar (considéré comme l'Etat le plus pauvre de l'Inde), Goutam a suivi
son père en ville où ils espéraient trouver une vie meilleure. Sa ville
natale est à environ 300 km de Calcutta, ainsi il ne peut rendre visite
à sa mère restée au village qu'une fois par an en bus.
