Visions and objectives
The Calcutta Espoir foundation is a non-profitable public utility foundation whose main aim is to support the projects of the organisation Calcutta Rescue in India.
The foundation also lends its support from time to time to other humanitarian projects involved in care and education particularly those concerned with children in developing countries. Hence other different projects have been supported, mainly in India.
The final objective does not change: to provide vital financial support to boost projects in areas of health and to give real social independence to the most disadvantaged.
For ethical reasons, the foundation avoids negative campaigning, choosing not to pull at the heartstrings of donors. By showing positive and dignified images we can alert people to the urgency of the situation just as well as by showing shocking images.
