Craft workshop

The workshop is based at 119 Gokul Mitra lane in the north of the town and employs 36 people. They are usually former patients, widows, deserters or who have sick or unemployed husbands. They make handicrafts and sew clothing for patients at the CR clinics and for school children. The fabrics they use have been woven in one of the training centres at Canning and Tamuldah.
