Voluntary service Giving some of our time to help those less fortunate than ourselves is a generous gift! The Calcutta Espoir Foundation in Switzerland is made up entirely of voluntary members and has an ever-increasing network of voluntary support whether that is on a more sporadic or more regular basis. As far as the Calcutta Rescue organisation in India is concerned there are 160 Indian employees including qualified medical personnel, rehabilitated former patients and some western volunteers who are always welcome.
